Our Team

Fiona Delanoy - Co-Principal

In 2011, Miss Fiona graduated from The Centre Performing Arts College. Under the direction of Principal, Ms Karen King, Miss Fiona achieved 3 years of professional performing and ISTD dance teacher training.

Miss Fiona joined Carnival Cruise Lines straight after graduating college as a production dancer. She had a fabulous time sailing the seas for 5 contracts over 3 and a half years, taking her as far as Sydney, Australia.

Returning to her home town of Beverley in 2015, Miss Fiona taught at local dance schools as well as starting Delanoy Dancers on a small scale: introducing adult dance classes in the Beverley area. September 2019 saw the expansion of Delanoy Dancers to offer classes to children from 18months to 18 years in Ballet, Tap and Modern and Boys Street Dance; Delanoy Dudes.

We are excited to introduce Street Dance to our timetable and Miss Fiona loves teaching all the Delanoy Dancer students back in person again and meeting lots of new faces each week at out trial classes.

Emma Delanoy - Co-Principal

Miss Emma graduated from The Centre Performing Arts College, 3 years earlier in 2008, achieving 3 years of professional performing and ISTD dance teacher training under the direction of Karen King.

She went on to dance on The Celebrity Constellation cruise ship with The Gary Musick Company, enjoying several months travelling the Caribbean and the Baltic.

Miss Emma then returned to Beverley and started her teaching career at her local dance school. After a few years she felt it was time to venture back to London where she has enjoyed teaching at South London Dance School for the past 9 years.

Miss Emma is so excited to be back up north full time after completing her role as Acting Princialpl of South London Dance School where she had full responsibility for dance training quality, care of the students and management of the business.

Miss Emma is so happy to be mangaing and now also teaching our wonderful Delanoy Dancers' students along with her sister Miss Fiona.

Sally Delanoy - Receptionist

Mrs. Delanoy is Delanoy Dancers’ receptionist who will welcome you on Saturdays at St. Mary’s Parish Hall.

Mrs. Delanoy was initially a secondary school teacher, specialising in P.E as well as teaching Mathematics, and returned to teach in primary schools after Miss Emma and Miss Fiona were near the end of their schooling.

Having recently retired, the timing worked wonderfully for all the Delanoy girls to be onboard the same team.

Hannah Thomas - Teaching assistant

Miss Hannah has been friends with Miss Emma and Miss Fiona since childhood, attending the same dance school together for many years.

Our shared love of dance has kept us all close over the years. Miss Hannah achieved many ISTD examinations in Ballet, Tap and Modern before moving to Manchester to study Fine Art. She then went on to complete a Primary PGCE and has taught in a number of Primary schools up and down the country, before settling back in Beverley.

Miss Hannah continued taking dance lessons throughout her studies and was delighted to attend Miss Fiona's Adult dance classes when they first began back in 2018. Miss Hannah has performed in Delanoy Dancers' shows and has assisted classes in the run-up to examinations in the past.

Miss Hannah's experience in both dance and in the classroom will make her a fantastic new member of the Delanoy Dancers' team as a teaching assistant.

With lots of ideas for now and the future, Miss Fiona and Miss Emma are looking forward to taking you on the journey with them…spreading the joy of dance
